The Birth of an International Federation
As the sport expanded across borders, the need for international coordination became evident. Different countries developed their own national structures, competitions, and technical interpretations, creating the necessity for a unified governing body.
The Fédération Internationale de Balle au Tambourin (FIBaT) was established to respond to this need, with the objective of:
